3. Costa Rica Weather and Climate

Costa Rica is indeed blessed with excellent weather, unparalleled by almost no other country on earth. In general, the sun does rise at 5.30 am and sets at 5.30pm affording 12 hour duration of sunshine. Weather patterns also do vary significantly year round which consequently dictates just what a person can or cannot do. For rafters, December and January are the most ideal due to moderate flow of rivers; for surfers, September and October are ideal owing to the better swells and bigger waves of Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea; for lovers of wildlife, August and September are suitable since it is during that period that turtles do arrive in their droves; whereas for bird watchers, the months from November to April are the most ideal owing to the existence of migratory birds such as the Quetzal.

4. Costa Rica International Airports

The existence of numerous international and national airports in several regions within Costa Rica makes travel to, from and within the country relatively easy and convenient. Visitors are thus capable of getting in and around the country with relative ease and with minimal distractions. These international airports include: Juan Santamaría International Airport (Airport code: SJO) and Daniel Oduber International Airport (Airport code: LIR).

As can be deduced from the foregoing discussions, a visit to Costa Rica will be fun-filled, enjoyable, cost-effective, relieving and indeed, more besides! You definitely don’t want to miss such an opportunity if you are indeed a serious vacationer.
